A Kc 280 million bid has won Bijou Terra an 89.36% stake in the Zeleznobrodske sklo (ZBS) glassworks, following a state tender. Jablonec-based Bijou Terra is owned by Bizuterie Ceska Mincovna, Precioza, and Ornela. ZBS employs a workforce of 1,180 and reported a pre-tax profit of Kc 75 million in the first half of 2000.
