US-based Besana Lovati Inc. has been acquired by Umberto Fassi, president of Italian manufacturer of glass processing equipment Costruzioni Meccaniche Besana S.p.A.
Umberto Fassi, president of Costruzioni Meccaniche Besana S.p.A., the Italian manufacturer of glass processing equipment, has acquired a 100% stake in US-based Besana Lovati Inc. The company, which is located in Winston Salem, N.C, is known for representing high-quality machines and other equipment from companies such as Macotec, Quaranta, Besana, Rollmac, Cugher and Lovati.
In addition, Besana Lovati Inc. recently announced that Dio Guerra had been appointed to the position of national sales manager. Guerra, who has more than 28 years of experience in the glass fabricating industry, will be responsible for all sales activities in North America.
Hal Strait has also been named as a sales agent for Besana Lovati in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Strait has more than 30 years of experience in the glass industry in diverse positions in engineering, manufacturing and machine sales.
