Thin film deposition equipment producer Applied Films Corporation announced 14 October 2003 that the underwriters of its recent public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock, which closed on 7 October 2003, have exercised their over-allotment option to acquire an additional 450,000 shares. The sale and purchase of these additional shares closed 14 October 2003 and raised an additional USD 12,264,750 for Applied Films Corporation, bringing the total shares of its common stock sold to the public in the offering to 3,450,000 shares and the total net proceeds received to USD 94,029,750. The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., as the sole bookrunning lead manager. CIBC World Markets Corp., Needham & Company, Inc. and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc. acted as co-managers.
