Apogee Enterprises Inc., said 2 February 2004 that it would post a 4Q loss instead of the profit previously expected, because of a shift in business into later quarters. The Minneapolis-based company said it now expects a loss from continuing operations of USD 0.08 to USD 0.11 per share, which includes charges of USD 0.02 to USD 0.03 per share. In December 2003, the company estimated a 4Q profit of USD 0.03 to USD 0.06 per share, before charges.
