Andersen takes over Fenêtres MQ

Andersen Corp. has acquired Fenêtres MQ Inc.

Andersen is expanding its product portfolio with the acquisition of Fenêtres MQ, which serves the luxury residential and commercial segments.

Andersen Corp. has acquired Fenêtres MQ Inc., a luxury window and door manufacturer headquartered in Sainte-Agathe, Quebec, with manufacturing locations in Canada and Italy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
MQ serves the luxury residential and commercial segments and is known for its work on complex, historic renovations.
“The acquisition of MQ expands Andersen’s product portfolio, increases our manufacturing capabilities and broadens our geographic reach,” said Jay Lund, Andersen chair and CEO. “We are pleased that MQ’s founder and president Gilles Morin will continue to lead the business as we grow our presence in North America and Europe. We welcome all MQ employees into the Andersen family and look forward to a bright future together.”
The MQ brand will complement Andersen’s Architectural Collection. The MQ product line includes many product styles, such as contemporary, European, classical, traditional, historic, and rustic. MQ’s products are crafted of wood, aluminium-clad wood, bronze-clad wood, UPVC, and steel. MQ sells its products in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe.
MQ is a private company founded in 1975.
