AGC: “My CO2 Report” enhances customer sustainability reporting

AGC Glass Europe launches “My CO2 Report,” providing customers with easy access to consolidated data on embodied Carbon equivalent CO2 (Global Warming Potential) and recycled content. This information is now available on invoices or via a comprehensive report on request.

With this new initiative, AGC offers its customers a solution for sustainability reporting, providing consolidated data that can be calculated per project or per client. This empowers customers to:

  • Officially report on “Scope 3” emissions and recycled content;
  • Meet mandatory reporting requirements in compliance with key European and local regulations, including RE2020, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the EU Taxonomy;
  • Obtain prestigious building certifications such as BREEAM and LEED;
  • Secure financing for projects.

“AGC is a true leader in sustainability and this initiative makes our commitment tangible for our customers,” said Hugues Lefevre, Product Manager Sustainable, Health & Safety Glass at AGC Glass Europe. “This transparent approach is a game-changer, turning sustainability from an ambition into a verifiable achievement.”

The consolidated data is based on industry standards:

  • Global Warming Potential (GWP, CO2 equivalent) data comes from Third Party verified EPD’s, delivered by AGC’s EPD Generator, ensuring the values are always up-to-date.
  • Recycled Content: Based on the ISO 14021:2016 standard, it measures the proportion of pre- and post-consumer materials contained in the glazing.

With this powerful new tool, AGC reaffirms its commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the evolving demands of the market. Customers are encouraged to request their “My CO2 Report” to immediately begin leveraging this data for their reporting, certification and financing needs.
