4 February 1999: Germany“s Schott Desag AG (Gruenenplan), part of the Mainz-based Schott group, saw turnover fall by 1% to DM 207.1 million in the period from 30 September 1997 to 30 September 1998. The export ratio increased slightly to 49%. The management and supervisory boards are proposing a dividend of DM 9 per DM 50 share on balance sheet profits of DM 5.4 million.
