Other than supplying the turnkey delivery of a cullet house and transport system to all four furnaces for container glass manufacturer Wiegand Glas, Zippe is also involved in the building of one of the most modern and largest recycling glass processing systems.
Zippe received an order from container glass manufacturer Wiegand Glas for the turnkey delivery of a cullet house and transport system to all four furnaces at the Steinbach am Wald location. Besides the cullet house itself the scope of delivery also entails the software planning and the complete control system. The steelworks, assembly and commissioning are also part of the job.
The cullet house serves to store own cullet, intermediate cullet, special cullet and fine-grain. Three independent transport systems provide maximum flexibility of the total system for supplying the four furnaces with cullet. As Wiegand Glas works with a very high share of cullet, this system will, in future, have a very important role in the melting material supply in Steinbach plant.
A further order for this project has come from Mogensen in Wedel, which is building one of the most modern and largest recycling glass processing systems for Wiegand Glas.
