ZIPPE Industrieanlagen will build a completely new batch plant for the Mexican Containerglass factory Industria Vidriera de Coahuila in Nava, Mexico.
The glass container production plant of IVC is operated by a 50-50 joint venture of Owens-Illinois, Inc. and Constellation Brands and produces container packages for Constellation’s neighbouring brewery.
The Batch Plant with a total capacity of approximately 990 tons glass per day includes the batch and cullet transport system, the automatic cullet return system for their new furnaces 3 and 4 and also the complete electrical control system. The order was placed with ZIPPE on a turnkey basis. Production is scheduled to start in May 2017.
