Mexican glassmaker Vitro is, for the first time, supplying automotive glass outside of North America by providing windows for quarters and rear windows on the 308 & 408 models of PSA Peugeot-Citron. We are very proud to have won this contract with PSA Peugeot-Citron, as it is one of the principal car manufacturers in Europe and known for working only with suppliers of excellence, confirmed Baldomero Gardea, Vitro Automotive Original Equipment general manager. He added that the windows are being manufactured by the VAU, ATX plant and the car assembly takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the cars being marketed throughout Latin America.
