Vetrotech Saint-Gobain’s state-of-the-art line will provide the local building market with one of the highest performing fire resistant glazing products, thanks to the joining of forces of Vetrotech Saint-Gobain and Saint-Gobain Glass India.
Vetrotech Saint-Gobain has opened its first fire resistant glass production line, situated on the site of Saint-Gobain Glass India’s World Glass Complex in Chennai, India. The state-of-the-art line was inaugurated by Jean-Pierre Floris, President of Saint-Gobain Glass.
This line, which produces the Contraflam line of interlayered tempered fire resistant safety glass, is an addition to several existing lines in Europe, North America and Asia.
Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, the world leader in fire resistant glazing, and Saint-Gobain Glass India, the leader in architectural glass in India, have joined forces to provide the local building market with one of the highest performing fire resistant glazing products.
