Production volumes of glass jars in 2011 in Ukraine were higher than in 2010, while exports were also up by 19%, as reported by the Agency of Industrial Marketing.
The Ukrainian Agency of Industrial Marketing has reported data for the 12 months of 2011 regarding the market of container glass in Ukraine.
Production volumes of glass jars in 2011 amounted to 221.9 thousand tons, 38% higher than the same period in 2010, while exports were also up by 19%.
Production of bottles is about 2.358 billion shares, while exports grew by 17%, caused by the fall of the domestic production of alcoholic beverages, wine and other alcoholic products
