AGC is expanding its range of solar control products with two new additions: ipasol neutral 70/37 and ipasol light grey 60/33.
In terms of energy performance, ipasol neutral 70/37 will replace ipasol neutral 70/39 and ipasol neutral 69/37, two bestsellers among its colour-neutral products. Aesthetically, ipasol light grey 60/33 is a distinctly modern glass, designed to meet growing demand from architects for products with a discreet grey appearance. By contrast, its predecessor – ipasol neutral 60/33 – looked slightly bluish.
ipasol neutral 70/37’s solar-protection coating delivers high light transmission and substantially lower heat radiation. At 37%, its solar factor is low, considerably reducing air-conditioning costs. At the same time, its 70% light transmission ensures bright interiors and its excellent Ug value of 1.0 W/(m2K) protects against heat loss during colder months. ipasol neutral 70/37 is colourless, both to look at and in terms of the light that passes through it.
ipasol light grey 60/33 also delivers relatively high light transmission with an exceptionally low solar factor, allowing 60% of visible daylight but just a third (SF: 33%) of warming sunlight to pass through it into the interior. Here, too, its Ug value in double glazing is just 1.0 W/(m2K) and its discreet grey appearance is in keeping with international architectural trends.
ipasol solar control products have short delivery times and are available in standard and non-standard sizes.
