Turomas and IGE celebrate 10 years of collaboration

In December 2019, Alvaro Tomas, Vice President of TUROMAS, travelled to the State of Florida in the United States to meet with Michael Spellman, President of IGE Glass Technologies, the purpose of the meeting was to renew the collaboration agreement that both firms signed a decade ago

Over the past ten years, Turomas, in partnership with IGE as its North American distributor, has significantly grown its presence in both the United States and Canada.  Turomas is now a well known source for the finest storing, loading and cutting systems in the flat glass industry.

Companies such as Creative Mirror and Shower, Cristacurva Houston, Glasswerks Los Angeles, Flat Glass Distributors, Hartung Glass Industries, Hollander Glass, M3 Glass Technologies and Precision Glass Industries are just some of the glass fabricators whose machinery for storing, loading or cutting glass has the Turomas seal.

Turomas equipment has helped to process glass for many prestigious architectural projects around North America, such as the private Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois, the 712 Fifth Avenue skyscraper in New York, the Casa Mira View apartment complex in San Diego, California, and the Kuukpik Corporation office building in Anchorage, Alaska.

Alvaro Tomas was very pleased with Turomas’ extension of the successful partnership with  Michael Spellman and IGE, the leading supplier of glass machinery in North America.

IGE’s vision for finding manufacturers of innovative machinery, with state-of-the-art technology, and characterized by its longevity and high reliability, was a perfect partnership for a company like Turomas, sharing the same goal of providing the finest automated solutions for the flat glass fabricator.

Continuing to work as strategic partners provides the opportunity to further strengthen Turomas’ presence in the North American market.
