Shares of Thai Industrial Gases PCL (TIG) skyrocketed 42% after the company said its parent plans to buy up the stock and delist the company. Shares of TIG resumed trading 23 May. Trading was suspended 21 May because the company had failed to clarify unconfirmed reports about the tender offer and delisting. In documents filed with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, TIG said SKTY (Thailand) Ltd. has agreed to purchase 27.8 million TIG shares held by Siam Commercial Bank PCL, Siam Cement PCL and CPB Equity Co. at 34 baht a share.
