Leading cut crystal manufacturer Swarovski is opening two new outlets in Dublin“s prime shopping precincts. The Austrian firm is paying a premium of EUR 0.5 million for two outlets at 5 Grafton St and 3 GPO buildings respectively. The Swarovski outlet at 5 Grafton Street comprises a ground floor of 72 sq m and a 71 sq m basement. The property is held under a 35 year lease from July 1985 with a current passing rent of EUR 187,250 per annum. The new unit at 3 GPO Buildings comprises a ground floor of 71 sq m with a basement of 62 sq m and a mezzanine of 30 sq m. This property is held under a 35 year lease from June 1987 with a current passing rent of EUR 206,000 per annum exclusive. Swarovski has 550 stores worldwide.
