Stoelzle launches the latest Stoelzle Design Concept – Carbon Sake

Produced in black glass, Stoelzle was able to replicate an authentically tailored wood-like texture onto a carafe style bottle

Stoelzle Glass Group is always working hard to bring forth innovation and creativity to the ever-growing sector of Premium Spirits.

In their most recent explorative design study, Stoelzle took two elements of Japanese culture, the rice wine drink, Sake, and a traditional method of carbonising wood, Yakisugi. With these elements theye created an exciting new brand and bottle, Carbon Sake.

The lessons taken from Yakisugi, the method of charring wood to release a protective element, Carbon, inspired a bold, dark aesthetic for the design.

Produced in black glass, Stoelzle was able to replicate an authentically tailored wood-like texture onto a carafe style bottle. Acid-etched, with large embossed logography and a splash of red, this bottle is a vivacious visual that cannot be unseen.
