Czech glass engineering company Sklostroj Turnov will invest EUR 30 million in the expansion of glass production in the St. Petersburg region, said regional vice governor Grigory Dvas. The company had commissioned three glass production lines, with a total annual capacity of 240 million beer bottles, in the regional town of Kirishi. Mr. Dvas said that the plans covered the extension of the glass factory in Kirishi, including a new melting shop and three lines to produce jars and beer bottles.
