Building materials maker Saint-Gobain said it has agreed to buy insulation manufacturer Owens-Corning South Africa in a move that is awaiting approval from competition authorities. It also said it has bought a 61.2% stake in Turkish insulation producer Izocam in a joint move with local partner Alghanim. Saint-Gobain and Alghanim will make a public offer for the remaining shares of Izocam.
