Saint-Gobain is accelerating its activity in developing countries, aiming to have 20% of its sales come from there in the medium term, chief operating officer Pierre-Andre de Chandelar said in a recent interview. He said annual investments in these countries are EUR 600 million, or 30% of Saint-Gobain“s total investments, and noted that 80% of the output from its plants there is destined for the local market.
