Through an investment of USD 130 million, Saint-Gobain Glass Mexico has inaugurated a second production line for flat glass at its plant in Ayala, Morelia. The operation of the line will require 100 permanent workers. The plant makes and processes glass for the construction and automobile industries, and can produce 650 metric tons a day. Saint-Gobain has a presence in 54 countries worldwide and in Mexico alone boasts 14 plants, three of which can be found in the Parque Industrial Cuautla.
