Glass bottle maker Rusjam, a subsidiary of Turkey“s Anadolu Cam Sanayii, is to establish production in Russia“s south by 2008. The company will invest EUR 75 million to set up production of 700 million bottles a year in Krymsk District in the Krasnodar Territory. Full capacity will be reached by the end of 2008. Analysts are in no doubt that the future output will find a market: the bottling of beverages in Russia has been growing by 10% to 15% per annum, with a corresponding increase in glass bottle consumption.
