The most recent product release from Ross Controls is the energy isolation valve for reliable operation in washdown applications – the Stainless Steel L-O-X®. This valve is equipped with redundant durable fluorocarbon seals for effective guarding against contaminant ingression into the pneumatic system.
The sanitary conditions needed in food and beverage packaging applications demand contaminant-free production so that the end product is safe and pure for consumption. To meet these demands, Ross Controls offers the Stainless Steel L-O-X® energy isolation valve for reliable operation in washdown applications.
For optimal protection, the Stainless Steel L-O-X® valve is equipped with redundant durable fluorocarbon seals for effective guarding against contaminant ingression into the pneumatic system. The valve’s internal design is such that there are no areas where pollutants could linger (self-draining) and spoil future production runs. When paired with a filter/regulator and Category 2, 3 or 4 double valve (as in the Stainless Steel L-O-X® washdown cabinet), the Stainless Steel L-O-X® provides a convenient, efficient air entry control solution.
Cast out of corrosion-proof 316 steel, the Stainless Steel L-O-X® also performs reliably in caustic environments such as pulp/paper, offshore industries, oil/gas and chemical processing. Its stainless steel construction helps avoid costly downtime by withstanding exposure to salt-water or chemical-laden environments.
