Registration opens for 2016 International Builders’ Show

Online registration has opened for the 2016 International Builders’ Show (IBS), hosted by The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

The 2016 show will be held in Las Vegas January 19-21, as part of the third annual Design & Construction Week (DCW), a co-located even that combines IBS with the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). DCW 2016 will also include two partner events: The International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE) and the International Surface Event (TISE).

All IBS registrants will have access to KBIS, IWCE and TISE.

“Industry professionals from across the globe flock to IBS for its incredible offerings, and we expect the 2016 show to be yet another banner year,” said NAHB chairman Tom Woods, in a statement. “There is no other place where you can get this type of industry knowledge in one place. With an impressive show floor featuring the latest and greatest products, unmatched education sessions, exciting special events, networking opportunities and access to four show floors, this event is not one to be missed.”

More than 1,300 of the industry’s top manufacturers and suppliers covering 500,000 square feet of exhibit space are expected to fill the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees who purchase the full conference registration option will also have access to more than 120 education sessions covering the latest techniques and trends in the building industry, as well as other educational features such as the new Innovation Hub. All attendees will have access to the Exhibitor Floor Forums, which offer product demos from several featured exhibitors, the High Performance Building Zone featuring building science experts leading a series of interactive sessions on high performance and green technologies, and IBS Live! sessions featuring demos and presentations on a variety of topics.

Attendees will also have their pick of numerous special events. Kicking off this year’s show is former Tonight Show host Jay Leno, who will serve as the keynote speaker for the opening ceremonies. Multi-million-selling pop/R&B duo Hall & Oates will perform at the IBS Spike Concert presented by GEICO.

Another of the many draws of IBS is The New American Home (TNAH), the official show home of the International Builders’ Show. Now in its 33rd year, The New American Home is constructed annually in conjunction with IBS to showcase innovative construction technologies, emerging design trends and the latest building products.

During September, IBS registrants can take advantage of several registration discounts. The NAHB International Builders’ Show is not open to the general public. Building industry professionals and their affiliates are invited to register by visiting the show’s website at www.BuildersShow.com.
