Indonesia“s publicly listed PT Asahimas Flat Glass has denied reports that it plans to delist from the stock exchange. “The report about delisting is false. There is no instruction from Asahi Glass Co. Ltd in Japan to prepare for delisting,” Finance Manager Rusli Pranadi said over the weekend of 26-27 November 2005. The price of Asahimas Flat Glass shares rose sharply in the week commencing 21 November 2005 on reports of the delisting. Rusli said the delisting report followed a request from its majority shareholder PT Komatsu Indonesia to go private.
