S K Raijada, President, Corporate HR and Group IR, Piramal Glass Limited has been awarded with the Jewel of India by the Indian Solidarity Council, a national body comprising eminent social leaders, bureaucrats and entrepreneurs.
The award was given in recognition of his contribution in human resources and industrial relations. He was also honoured with the prestigious ‘Vijay Rattan Medal’ by the International Institute of Education and Management, New Delhi. Raijada has been working as HR & IR Professional in Gujarat for over 33 years.
The award was presented by ex-Chief Election commissioner J V G Krishnamurthy, former Governor and Ex-Chief justice of Kerala O P Verma and Ex Minister and Ex-Governor Bhishma Narayan Singh. The award consisting of a gold medal, trophy and appreciation certificate was presented during an event on July 20. Raijada is an advisor of RBN Global University, Rajasthan and Parul University, Vadodara.
