Paradigm Window acquired by Private Equity company

Paradigm Window Solutions, a manufacturer of custom vinyl windows in the Northeast, has been sold to Cleveland-based private equity firm CapitalWorks.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to CapitalWorks, the key to the acquisition is the continuing participation of former Simonton Building Products president and COO John Brunett as chairman of Paradigm and Andy Sevier as president. Brunett helped build Simonton from a regional to a national leader in vinyl windows and has been with Paradigm since 2010. Sevier has been with the company for almost 30 years.
“We are excited to partner with the Paradigm team to continue to expand their market presence,” said CapitalWorks managing partner and CEO Dick Hollington. “The delivered and installed quality of their premium vinyl windows and doors along with their warranty and support programs are unmatched in the industry.”
Paradigm markets through qualified distributors and contractors throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest of the USA.
“CapitalWorks will provide us with more than the capital to help us to accelerate our growth,” said Sevier. “Their in-house expertise and the industry knowledge and contacts of their network of advisors will boost our ability to achieve the next level of performance.”
Paradigm specializes in premium-quality custom vinyl windows and patio doors for new construction, replacement and institutional projects.
“Management at Paradigm Window Solutions has done a terrific job building exceptional products of lasting value and promoting a customer-centric culture,” said Brunett. “The culture and work ethic of their associates should continue to produce long-term growth and profitability for Paradigm Window Solutions and CapitalWorks.”
