Omani glass packaging manufacturer Majan Glass posted a net loss of OMR 110,000 (USD 285,800/EUR 239,800) for the 1Q of 2003, compared to a net loss of OMR 103,000 (USD 267,600/EUR 224,600) for the 1Q of 2002. The company reported revenue of OMR 726,000 (USD 1.9 million/EUR 1.6 million), up from OMR 623,000 (USD 1.6 million/EUR 1.4 million). Gross profit rose to OMR 156,000 (USD 405,200/ EUR 340,100) from OMR 142,000 (USD 368,900/EUR 309,600). Majan Glass total assets stood at OMR 9.762 million (USD 25.4 million/EUR 21.3 million), down from OMR 9.775 million (USD 25.4 million/EUR 21.3 million ), while total liabilities increased to OMR 10.692 million (USD 27.8 million/EUR 23.3 million), compared to OMR 10.448 million (USD 27.1 million/EUR 22.8 million).
