NSG Group: CDP Supplier Engagement Leader for five consecutive years

NSG Group is pleased to announce that it has, for the fifth consecutive year, been recognised as a Supplier Engagement Leader, the highest rating in Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) by CDP, an international non-governmental organisation that promotes disclosure of information on environmental impacts.

The CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment is an indicator that assesses a company’s supply chain engagement on climate change issues and promotes collaboration among companies in the supply chain. Companies’ efforts are scored based on their responses to questions in four areas of the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire: Governance, Targets, Value Chain (Scope 3) and Value Chain Engagement, as well as their overall assessment of the Climate Change Questionnaire.

NSG Group has established a Supplier Code of Conduct and is working with suppliers to achieve its goals. Furthermore, in September 2023, the Group established the NSG Group Sustainable Supply Chain Charter to strengthen and accelerate efforts to achieve the Group’s sustainability goals in cooperation with their suppliers.

“We are delighted to once again be recognised by CDP as a Supplier Engagement Leader,” commented John Wilgar, Chief Procurement Officer. “Every year, the requirements to reach this level become more challenging, so to achieve this again is testament to the efforts across the whole organisation and across our supply base. We particularly appreciate the positive and enthusiastic way in which our supply partners have engaged with our program. Without their full engagement and commitment NSG cannot achieve its Sustainability goals.”
