22 July 1999: Japan“s Nihon Yamamura Glass Co. said it would absorb an unlisted real estate subsidiary, Kinko KK, on 1 September. Nihon Yamamura expected its parent current profit to rise by 20 million yen through the merger to 1.02 billion yen in the year to March 2000. The company recorded a current loss of 511 million yen the year before.
