Mir Stekla 2014 exhibition overview

This year’s edition of Mir Stekla, to take place 4-6 June 2014, in Moscow, Russia, at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, is being organized following a totally new concept. First and foremost, the exhibition will be held in Pavilion 2, enabling to have three exhibition halls in one single area.

As of this year, Mir Stekla has finally been brought under one roof, and will take place in the most modern pavilion of Expocentre Fairgrounds: pavilion 2. Architectural features of the pavilion allow to have three exhibition halls as one space. The convenient location of entrances along with the well-planned layout of the exposition facilitate visitors in the search for exhibitors and contacts.
Mir Stekla will be in a totally new light for industry participants, with main accents on the extraordinary opportunities of glass.
Energy-efficient glass from RuSail, a leading player on the translucent constructions market, its developments in Warm edge technology are available at booth 22 С51. Low-E, multifunctional, solar glass from Salavatsteklo will be on show at booth 21 D62.
Glass as a marketing tool – the latest technologies and materials for glass decoration, including container glass at Ferro booth 21 D30, Digle Design at booth 21 А25, Palina Coatings, booth 21 С10, will present their innovations. Printing on glass, a technique used widely in interior decoration, will be demonstrated by Elekon, booth 22 Е33, Technographics at booth 22 Е25 as well as Vremena Goda at booth 22 D25.
Thermal house, the latest technologies of glass usage in architecture, magnetron spray systems and energy-saving technologies, architectural glass coating, will be demonstrated by Leybold.
Glass transportation and storage – modern solutions from Rail Pro.
Kami, booth 22 Е10, will present its technologies in raw materials and finished products processing.
In the frame of the new ArtGlass exposition the best artists of Moscow will demonstrate their work, as well as the process of making unique interior glass decoration pieces. Fusing technique, lampwork of soft and borosilicate glass, Tiffany stained glass technology, painting on glass and other related technologies will also be on show.
Applications for participation will be accepted until 15 April 2014.
