Jeffoptics will be at Gulf Glass 2017

The company will showcase its JF-1 and JF-3 surface stress meters at the expo

Jeffoptics has announced that they will participate in Gulf Glass 2017, to be held from September 25 to 27 in Dubai World Trade Center In Dubai.
The company will be displaying two of its state-of-the-art instruments for surface stress measurement of thermal tempered glass and chemical tempered glass at the event.
Jeffoptics JF-1 Series and JF3 Series are for thermal tempered glass surfaces stress measurement. The JF-1 glass surface stress meter is a Differential Stress Refractometer (DSR). After developing several time optimizations, it is now possible for an operator to complete the measurement operation by adjusting only one component. The JF-3 series measures surface stress using a laser. The device is an enhanced grazing angle surface polarimeter that takes advantage of the optical structure of glass. The light grazing angle is selected by the sample glass itself to be measured. The receiving mirror is optimized and no longer needs horizontal movement, reducing operation complexity greatly. The optimized image processing algorithm increases the resolution of stress to 0.1 MPa.
Both devices comply with ASTM C 1048, ASTM C 1279, EN 12150-2, EN 1863-2.
“Jeffoptics’ products feature easy operation, high resolution, robustness, small size, light weight and portablility. We look forward to providing the best products to assist our clients with more accurate, efficient and convenient tools,” said Jeff Li, founder of Jeffoptics.
Jeffoptics’ stand number is 4F95 in hall 4.
