Polish glassworks HSG Irena SA registered a consolidated net loss of PLN 1.4 million (USD 410,000/EUR 351,000) for the period from January to September 2005, compared to a consolidated net profit of PLN 3.3 million (USD 967,000/EUR 828,000) in the first nine months of 2004. HSG Irena posted a PLN 1.4 million (USD 410,000/EUR 351,000) operating loss, versus a PLN 2.6 million (USD 762,000/EUR 653,000) operating profit. The company“s gross loss totalled PLN 1.8 million (USD 528,000/EUR 452,000), against a gross profit of PLN 4.2 million (USD 1.2 million/EUR 1.1 million). Consolidated sales revenue increased to PLN 85.8 million (USD 25.1 million/EUR 21.5 million) from PLN 69.4 million (USD 20.3 million/EUR 17.4 million).
