Japan“s Hoya Corporation said it would invest USD 116 million in two more projects to build high-end glass plant in Vietnam between now and 2011, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology. At present, the Japanese group is preparing for the Hoya Lens Vietnam Co. Ltd. project at Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park II in the southern Binh Duong province. The enterprise, which has an initial registered capital of USD 36 million, will produce high-quality lenses.
