Guardian Glass North America was recognized for both print and social media advertising at Architectural Record’s annual Advertising Excellence Awards breakfast at the May AIA Convention in Philadelphia.
Guardian won for a single-page ad about SunGuard® SNX 51/23 in SNAP, and earned another honor for an Architectural Record Facebook ad post promoting the Glass Visualizer.
“It’s important for Guardian to reach its customers where they are consuming product information,” says Brian Schulz, Commercial Product Manager, Guardian Glass North America. “We’re honored Architectural Record’s jury of renowned architects feel our advertising messaging is effective – and for the fifth consecutive year.”
The SunGuard SNX 51/23 ad illustrates the product’s high visible light transmission of 51 percent alongside its very low solar heat gain coefficient of 0.23. The Facebook post about the Glass Visualizer promoted the digital tool’s ability to help architects and designers see glass under varying lighting conditions and views. The post reached almost 12,000 people and featured a high percentage of likes and clicks.
The award was part of a successful AIA Expo for Guardian, which showcased its industry-leading glass products and tools in a newly designed booth and also offered a continuing education program on the evolution of glass and high performance coatings.
