The Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) is excited to bring back the program, as glass partners around the world celebrate 2022 as the International Year of Glass. For over 30 years, food and beverage brands have participated in the Clear Choice Awards to highlight glass packaging that tells their product stories and showcases innovative designs that stand out to consumers.
GPI welcomes companies to enter products manufactured in North America according to the guidelines below.
All glass jars and bottles manufactured and available in the North American marketplace between January and December 2021 are eligible for the 2022 Clear Choice Awards. Products may be entered for an award in one of eight categories:
- Beer, Cider & Flavoured Alcoholic Beverages
- Food
- Wine
- Spirits
- Non-Alcoholic Beverages
- Cosmetics, Fragrances & Pharmaceutical
- Sustainability
- Innovation
All submissions entered in their product category, may additionally, be eligible for the sustainability and innovation categories.

Entry Fees
GPI member companies may submit unlimited entries at no cost.
All non-member entries require a USD 125 entry fee.
Deadline
Entry forms must be received by May 31, 2022. Product examples do not have to arrive by May 31.
