Global Security Glazing earns ISO 9001:2008 certification

Global Security Glazing, which offers a range of laminated glass products designed for prolonged physical attack and burglary resistance, has received ISO 9001:2008 management system certification for the manufacture and supply of security glass products.

Global Security Glazing, based in Selma, Alabama, US, has received ISO 9001:2008 management system certification for the manufacture and supply of security glass products by SRI Quality System Registrar.
“We work very hard to deliver the best quality and service experience to our customer base,” says Lance Cotton, senior vice president of Consolidated Glass Holdings – Security, Transportation and Specialty Products division, which acquired Global Security Glazing in January 2012. “This certificate is a testament to our team and overall desire to remain a leader in the security and detention glass industries.”
A. Joseph Falcsik, SRI’s vice president of certification, adds, “We are pleased to acknowledge that Global Security Glazing has demonstrated effective implementation of a management system. ISO 9000 certification provides evidence to customers, suppliers, employees, and the community of their commitment to producing a quality product (service) and providing customer satisfaction.”
Global Security Glazing offers a range of laminated glass products designed for prolonged physical attack and burglary resistance. Secur-Tem® and Secur-Lite X® are high performance institutional glazing products utilizing Chem-Tem® chemically strengthened glass or heat strengthened glass and PVB for prolonged physical attack resistance. Secur-Lite® annealed glass laminates are designed to prevent “smash and grab” burglary at retail establishments and meet UL 972 test standards.
