Glaston has reached another significant milestone: with the delivery of the 1,500th Glaston UNIT’ASSEMBLER to AGC Glass Europe in the Czech Republic, the company continues the global success of its proven technology for assembling, gas filling and pressing insulating glass units (IGUs).
For years, the UNIT’ASSEMBLER has been synonymous with automated, precise and efficient assembly, gas filling, and pressing of double to quadruple-IG units. The delivery type ZPG-V machine will, in the future, be used by AGC Glass Europe to produce sophisticated IG units for the fire-resistant glass Pyrobel-T, ranging from classic rectangular formats to almost all other shaped formats.

The UNIT’ASSEMBLER impresses with its precise alignment of the glass panels via a lifting beam at the lower running level and a fixed stop at the front edge. This ensures uniform compression of all units, regardless of whether they are double, triple or quadruple IG units.
Another key feature is the integrated gas filling technology. A calibrated gas sensor continuously monitors the gas filling process and ensures consistent, reproducible gas quality. As an option, the UNIT’ASSEMBLER can be equipped with a synchro gas-filling function, enabling it to fill triple IG units with gas in the same amount of time as double IG units.
The delivery to AGC Glass Europe underscores UNIT’ASSEMBLER’s strong market position in Europe and worldwide. Since its introduction, the system has established itself as a central component of modern insulating glass lines, significantly improving productivity and quality in glass processing.
With the 1,500th machine delivered, Glaston once again confirms its position as a provider of innovative and reliable solutions for the insulating glass industry.
