GlassCon Global’s scientific committee is developing the GlassCon educational tracks for this year’s event in Chicago, which will run from September 5-7 at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza, located in the heart of downtown Chicago and steps away from Chicago’s river walk and some of the city’s most famous architecture.
Attendees from all facets of the architectural glass and glazing industry will learn about the latest and upcoming products, techniques and trends and network with some of the most influential individuals in the industry.
The conference encourages industry collaboration and communication by providing a practical, educational forum where glass professionals can expand their knowledge in a continually-evolving technological environment.
Additionally, all GlassCon Global presentations will provide AIA CES credit. Attending GlassCon Global is an acceptable activity for fulfilling state licensing MCE requirements for architects and professional development hours (PDHs) for engineers. FCA International, the administrating body of GlassCon Global, is an approved provider of the AIA Continuing Education System. Sessions met AIA/CES criteria for Health/Safety/Welfare Unit Hours.
Glass Performance Days (GPD) will participate in the event via a presentation given by Jorma Vitkala, Chairman of the organizing committee of GPD. GPD and GlassCon Global cooperatively support each other, as they share similar missions to provide technical education to drive innovation in Glass Technology.
