The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced the election of DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions’ Valerie Block as Chair of the GANA Laminating Division. Block will assume her new role with the organization at GANA’s upcoming Annual Conference, to be held 20-24 February in Sarasota, Florida.
“I am honoured to serve as the GANA Laminating Division Chair,” said Block. “I look forward to working with current and new division members on marketing and technical issues, and welcome suggestions for future activities that will expand and strengthen our industry.”
Block received her BS from Ithaca College, her MS from the University of Michigan, and her MA from the University of Pennsylvania. A long-time member of the glass and glazing industry, Block has worked for DuPont as Senior Marketing Specialist since 2003. Her leadership and industry knowledge are greatly respected and appreciated.”
