Established in 1938 in The Netherlands, Van Noordenne Groep is nowadays one of the biggest glass processing factories in all of Europe.
The company owns one of the most remarkable Forel’s Sorting System in the world: connected to three different cutting lines, Van Noordenne’s Sorting System receives the pieces cut to size, orders them as required by the production program and moves them to different processing and logistics areas.
An integrated system of the latest generation that allows to avoid manual handling of the glass, reduce wastes and risks of glass breakage or damage, improve production output and save time in supplying the processing lines by better organizing the production flow.
The installation of the Sorting System in the Van Noordenne plant meant a clear improvement in order and efficiency: assigning a unique ID (Identification Code) to every single piece, all the glass sheets are constantly tracked, localised and managed from a PC station and is possible to control in real time the progress of each single order.
