Ciner Glass is building a new glass packaging plant at Kristalpark III in Lommel, Belgium, which will create 500 direct jobs. From 2026 onwards, the plant will be producing 2.5 billion bottles a year.
A project of this magnitude involves many different departments and political levels. The company welcomed the Flemish Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Lydia Peeters, and her senior colleagues to meet with senior representatives of Ciner Glass, including founder and owner Turgay Ciner and CEO Gokhan Sen, to discuss construction progress at the plant and the sustainability credentials of the project.
Ciner Glass aims to maximise the use of sustainable transport at the plant to help minimise emissions.
