Engineering News-Record (ENR) has released its report on 600 speciality contractors, with the Top 20 Firms in Glazing and Curtainwall among the building niches that it ranked.
Enclos Corp. was top with USD 164.4 million in revenue for 2010, despite a 42% decrease from the previous year, followed by Walters & Wolf, with USD 158.9 million and a 27% decline in revenue in 2010. W&W Glass LLC was third with USD 110 million in revenue and a 10% increase from the year before, followed by Architectural Glass & Aluminum Co. with USD 62.5 million in revenue and a 13% decline from the previous year. Fifth was Gamma USA Inc. with USD 53.8 million in revenue, while CBO Glass Inc. was sixth with USD 48 million in revenue and a 6% decline from the previous year. Tower Glass Inc., with USD 40 million in revenue and 10% increase from previous year, was seventh, followed by Karas & Karas Glass Co. in eighth place with USD 34.6 million in revenue and a 34% decline. Ninth was Giroux Glass Inc. with USD 33 million in revenue and a 56% decrease from the previous year, while Ajay Glass & Mirror Co. with USD 28.2 million in revenue and a 17% drop, was tenth.
Most of the firms on the list saw a decline in revenue from the previous year, except W&W Glass, Tower Glass and Crawford Tracey Corp. Tower Glass saw a 10% increase, and Crawford Tracey, in 15th place, saw a 23% increase.
