EME added five new scrapers to the cullet return system, installed new belt scales to the cullet addition and fitted de-dusting units to the cullet transport. The company also completely overhauled and reconditioned the crushers and added a filter dust silo with pneumatic suction system to limit contamination.
EME’s solutions have helped the Wiegand-Glas Ernstthal plant increase capacity and add efficiency across the plant’s nine production lines.
