EME will supply an upgrade of the batch plant and cullet return system for one of the major Arabian manufacturers for container glass, Zoujaj, at its Riad factory.
EME Maschinenfabrik, a supplier of batch plants and cullet returns systems for the glass industry, has been awarded a contract in Saudi Arabia.
One of the major Arabian manufacturers for container glass, Zoujaj, had already contracted EME for the supply of a control system for its existing batch plant, and is now returning for an upgrade of the batch plant and cullet return system.
Zoujaj is expanding production capacity in its Riad factory by adding a new melting furnace with several related production lines.
EME will manage the capacity increase of the existing batch plant and supply a complete new cullet return system for the new production lines. Zoujaj’s number one furnace will remain in full operation throughout the process.
