US technology-driven, customer-focused automotive supplier Donnelly Corporation, and Midwest Stamping, Inc. have begun a collaborative effort to produce roll-up windows for a number of sport utility vehicles and pick-up trucks manufactured by a major North American automaker. The contract represents more than US$ 12 million annually. Midwest Stamping, headquartered in Ohio, US, is a nationally recognized Minority Business Enterprise that has been in continuous operation since 1952 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The company has more than 600 associates with locations in South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Midwest Stamping provides its customers with highly efficient and high quality subassemblies and structural stampings in a just-in-time manner. Midwest Stamping“s Springfield, Kentucky, plant will produce the roll-up windows to support Donnelly.
