DFI: Syracuse Glass partnership

Global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), has a new partnership with Syracuse Glass Company, a leading US architectural glass and aluminium fabricator.

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced a new partnership with Syracuse Glass Company, a leading architectural glass and aluminium fabricator with fabrication facilities in Upstate New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania out of Syracuse, New York.
The company offers a diversified and extensive product line and was recently named as a Top Fabricator among Glass Magazine’s Top Fabricator listing, highlighting the leading glass fabricators in the North American marketplace. The partnership enables Syracuse Glass to add value to its broad-range of glass products for shower enclosures with the Diamon-Fusion nanotechnology coating, by enhancing long-term performance and customer satisfaction with its coating that chemically bonds to glass, making it more water repellent and easier to clean.
Syracuse Glass has served the glass industry for over one hundred years. Founded in 1909 as a glass distributor, the company has developed state-of-the-art facilities by investing in information technology, fabrication equipment and people to meet the ever-changing needs of its customers. Today, it offers a variety of fabricated glass products – shower doors, all glass entrances, insulating glass units, spandrel glass, fire-rated glass, as well as Tubelite architectural aluminium custom fabricated entrances and storefronts. Products are delivered promptly and professionally on specialized company-owned vehicles.
“We’re always looking for new products that will interest our customers. We were introduced to Diamon-Fusion and quickly saw the advantage the products offered not only our customers but our company as well,” shared John Dwyer, CSI, president of Syracuse Glass Company. “The coating, as well as the cleaning and maintenance products, are remarkable. Our expectations have been exceeded.”
Through DFI’s patented nano-coating process, the treatment to the glass creates a water repellent effect which enables ease of cleaning and protection against scratches, abrasion, hard water, soap scum, mildew and environmental elements, thereby considerably reducing the overall costs of maintenance in both residential and commercial applications.  DFI’s proprietary no-cure-time application methods enable producers to increase production dramatically with minimal increases in costs.
“Cutting-edge technology and long-standing customer satisfaction are the cornerstones to the success of Syracuse,” commented Russell Slaybaugh, vice president and general manager of DFI. “John and his team are among a growing list of top fabricators who recognize the value-added benefits of increased revenue, profit and customer satisfaction that DFI products are best positioned to deliver. We look forward to partnering with the Syracuse team to ensure continued success.”
