DFI patented 3D-Nanotechnology takes key part in unprecedented 180% sales increase

Viglacera has acquired two of DFI’s CVD Industrial Chambers, thus moving from manually-applied coating to CVD chamber system, exponentially increasing productivity.

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, has announced the acquisition of two more of its CVD Industrial Chambers by Viglacera (Vietnam Glass Ceramics), to be implemented at two additional manufacturing plants in Vietnam during early Q2-2012. An agreement between Viglacera Trading Company and DFI was signed last year for the implementation of DFI’s patented nano-coating and its CVD chamber system. This new acquisition by Viglacera marks a full transition from DFI’s manually-applied coating to CVD chamber system, exponentially increasing productivity.
Since 1974, Viglacera Corporation has continuously expanded its business, diversified its products, and increased its investment in modern equipment, improving product quality and gradually mastering worldwide advanced technologies in the field of building materials production. With a steady annual growth rate of 20% in recent years, Viglacera has expanded its market segments and distribution channels to become the leading group in trade and production of building materials in Vietnam, comprising more than 40 subsidiaries and a staff of 18,000 employees. In 2011, Viglacera Trading Company, representing a full line of sanitary-ware manufactured in three regional plants, experienced an unprecedented 180% increase in sales. “The vast productivity provided by the CVD chamber systems will allow us to fully implement the DFI nanocoating across the board, to our entire product line. The great success we have experienced in 2011 with the adoption of DFI’s nanotechnology has proven to be a key factor in our sales, and we truly are thrilled to have such an unprecedented 180% sales increase vs. prior year; we look forward to further increasing the sales of this truly remarkable new high quality product line,” stated Nguyen Van Ly, General Director of Viglacera Trading Joint Stock Company.
Guillermo Seta, Corporate Vice President and Executive Director of DFI, added: “This graduation from our manually-applied products to our ultra-efficient CVD system is something we are trying to make all companies more aware of, as it truly provides unlimited production capability at a very nominal cost, so it’s both a money saver and a generator of much greater profits, coupled with the fact it’s an eco-friendly process. There’s virtually no other coating system in the world than can be applied in a more cost-effective manner than our 3D chamber method, period.”
