23 July 1998: Doncaster-based (UK) Demaglass has reportedly invested UK 4 million in developing a new material, called Dema Diamond, which can be used to make drinking glasses. The new material has been developed in close collaboration with Sheffield-based glass research organisation British Glass, brewers, publicans, the Home Office, police and licensing authorities, reports say.
