Contract glazing firms see revenue growth

A list of the Top 600 Specialty Contractors, including top contract glaziers, has been released, with the companies seeing combined revenues of USD 81.33 billion in 2012, an increase of 12.7% from USD 72.14 billion in 2011.

A list of the Top 600 Specialty Contractors, including top contract glaziers, has been released by Engineering News-Record, in which a number of companies rounding out the top ten glazing and curtainwall firms saw revenue increases in 2012 compared to 2011.
Harmon Inc., once again ranked number one, with revenue increasing 20% to USD 180 million. Enclos Corp. at number two, saw its revenues up 10% to USD 176.4 million, while number 3, Walters & Wolf, had revenues increase 38% to USD 140.3 million.
A number of the same companies, including Harmon Inc., Enclos, Walters & Wolf, W&W and Gamma, were also listed in the top ten on USGlass magazine’s lists.
According to the ENR report, the specialty contractor industry represents a significant part of the overall contract glazing industry, with the top 600 seeing combined revenues of USD 81.33 billion in 2012, an increase of 12.7% from USD 72.14 billion in 2011.
